This blog is an attempt to document my growing love and appreciation for cinema, particularly the non-mainstream Hollywood variety (though I might write about the occasional Hollywood flick). I hope to draw connections between the films I write about and their larger cultural/social/political contexts to the best of my abilities as a kid relatively new to this world of film criticism or whatever ya wanna call it. My interests are wide and varied, so I hope the films I choose to write about reflect a bit of that. Now, let’s talk movies!
